I wish I could just send this question to a friend and have them
write about me because what I think I am is probably quite
different than how I am perceived. For one, I think I am funny, but
I am quite certain that alot of the laughs I get are courtesy
laughs because I have a very cheesy/dry sense of humor! On the
whole, I am an easy going, laid back kind of guy. I tend to let
things that upset me just kind of roll off me and I am usually on a
very even keel. I am very open and try to be as much of a people
person as possible because I think it gives me a chance to share
Jesus with others through everyday conversation. I am a
conversationalist and love to have long conversations about
anything and everything. I also tend to wear my heart on my sleeve
at times when it comes to romantic feelings. That whole "guarding
your heart" concept isn't something I've mastered yet. Haha. I'm
working on it though!
My favorite activities revolve around God,
music, and sports for the most part. As far as God goes, I attend
Sunday worship, participate in church activiies, and go to the
city-wide college worship service on Tuesdays. Sportswise, I grew
up playing basketball, baseball, soccer, and swimming. Nowadays I
usually play basketball three times a week or so and when it's
warm, I love to go relax on the golf course, hike in the mountains,
or play tennis. I also spend countless nights at concert venues. I
love a variety of music but listen mostly to Christian music and
the music of various independent artists. I don't listen to that
much radio - mostly CDs. As far as movies go, I like a wide variety
of movies, but some of my favorites are Monty Python and the Holy
Grail, the Princess Bride, Shrek, Finding Nemo, the Bourne
Identity, a Beautiful Mind, the Incredibles, Napoleon Dynamite, the
Sixth Sense, and the Village - to name a few. Other than all of

This is such a tough question to answer because what I'm looking
for could be the exact opposite of what God wants for me. In
general though, I'm looking for something that can be centered
around God at all times. I want someone who wants to be just as
involved in a church as I am and who values good Christian
fellowship with others. I would love to meet someone who is open to
randomness - whether it be dropping and everything and going to a
concert, movie, bowling, or a weekend roadtrip. I don't have a set
"type." I find alot of different qualities attractive. It's the
combination of those certain qualities that will make someone
attractive to me. |
